President Barack Obama rang in
the New Year by signing the NDAA law with its provision allowing
him to indefinitely detain citizens. It was a symbolic moment, to
say the least. With Americans distracted with drinking and
celebrating, Obama signed one of the greatest rollbacks of civil
liberties in the history of our country … and citizens partied in
unwitting bliss into the New Year.
Nine years
after the terrorist attacks of 2001, the United States is
assembling a vast domestic intelligence apparatus to collect
information about Americans, using the FBI, local police, state
homeland security offices and military criminal
investigators.

(DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano today announced the expansion of
the Department's national "If You See Something, Say Something"
campaign to hundreds of Walmart stores across the country -
launching a new partnership between DHS and Walmart to help the
American public play an active role in ensuring the safety and
